The contractor is responsible for guarding and securing the Lise Meitner Campus (LMC) including the BER II nuclear facility in Berlin-Wannsee (research reactor). The Contractor shall ensure the constant, armed guarding of the BER II nuclear facility, including patrol activities and access control and the issuing of ID cards for access to the research reactor in accordance with preparatory work/specifications by the property security officer (OBe), prevents unauthorized persons from entering or staying at the facility, objects from being brought into or removed from the facility without permission, material or operating materials uncontrolled or without release are brought into the facility and the unauthorized photographing of the nuclear facility, ensures the security of BER II in such a way that disruptive measures or other effects of third parties are detected, hindered and reported to the competent authorities, ensures the support of the radiation protection officer in his task of monitoring the control areas. ensures the implementation of measures in the event of alarms and hazard reports from the reactor area, ensures the implementation of alarms and the instruction of emergency and rescue forces.
