The platforms at Diest station are raised to a height of 76 cm above the tracks. The entire platform equipment will be renewed according to the latest standardisation. A canopy on both platforms, shelters, sofas and platform lighting with sonorization are provided. In addition, a new pedestrian passerelle will be built with 2 lifts and stairs giving access to platform 1 and platform 2/3. The existing underpass will be renovated.
