The AWIGO Abfallwirtschaft district of Osnabrück GmbH is indirectly a

100 percent subsidiary of the district of Osnabrück. For the approximately 360,000 inhabitants in 34 cities, municipalities and velvet communities, she is responsible for organising public waste disposal and therefore also for collecting green waste.

Compostable green waste from gardens, parks and green areas can be delivered to 27 green spaces and 4 recycling centers (see fig. 1 in the service description) in the district of Osnabrück.

It is intended to re-award the loading and transport of green waste from recycling centers and green spaces, as well as the transport of products from the treatment plants (humus and mulch) in accordance with the attached service description as part of an EU tender in an open procedure in accordance with Section 14 (1) of the VgV. The estimated (on average) annual removal of green waste is around 55,000 mg/a.
