The Dommelvallei service wants to conclude an agreement that consists of making an IT service available for renewing the data exchange.
The 3 municipalities within the Dommel Valley Department and the Dommel Valley Department themselves want to guarantee the continuity of data exchange in the future and reduce the complexity of this. Digitization is increasing and more links are coming. These developments ensure a very complex knit that is increasingly difficult to manage.
That is why it has been decided to renew the data exchange. This should lead to new systems for the following components:
- data distribution,
- data warehouse,
- data warehouse,
- service bus,
- digital coupling adapter.
We call this combination the data node.
The agreement consists of making an IT performance available for renewing the data exchange.

It is required that the above components are installed locally (on premises). However, there is one exception: the digital coupling adapter, which is part of the service bus, must be supplied as a SaaS service.
The agreement is entered into for a minimum period of 5 years and a maximum of 14 years. The intended effective date of the agreement is 6.5.2020.
As a requirement, the contracting authority maintains a ceiling amount. For the total one-off costs, the contracting authority applies a ceiling of EUR 342,000.00. For the total annual costs, the contracting authority applies a ceiling of EUR 180,000 per year. The costs for third party licenses are not included in the ceiling amount.
