Industrial activities significantly impact the environment and human health through emissions, waste generation, and resource consumption, requiring a robust EU regulatory framework aimed at prevention, monitoring, reduction, remediation, and compensation of these impacts. This framework contract’s objectives include analysing, evaluating, summarizing Member States' implementation of existing EU legislation and policy, reviewing existing legislation and assessing environmental, economic, and social impacts, developing new policy, and sectoral profiling.
