Evaluation study of a collective information and communication campaign in favor of European cheese in Europe: France, Germany 2021

The purpose of the contract is to carry out a study to evaluate a collective information and communication campaign in favor of European cheese in France and Germany for a period of one year (2021). In this post-crisis context, where certain product segments have been severely disrupted and given the strong economic upheavals to come, it is necessary to support all players (breeders, producers, processors, production and distribution units) and to restore normal market conditions through actions aimed at meeting the two objectives below:

- objective 1: support the purchase of European cheeses in France;

- objective 2: support the consumption of European cheeses in Germany.

The purpose of the contract is to carry out a study to evaluate a collective information and communication campaign in favor of European cheese in France and Germany for a period of one year (2021). In this post-crisis context, where certain product segments have been severely disrupted and given the strong economic upheavals to come, it is necessary to support all players (breeders, producers, processors, production and distribution units) and to restore normal market conditions through actions aimed at meeting the two objectives below:

- objective 1: support purchases of European cheeses in France, while maintaining the average annual growth rate of the pre-COVID-19 period, i.e. 0.7%;

- objective 2: support the consumption of European cheeses in Germany, by maintaining an average annual growth rate slightly higher than the pre-COVID-19 period, i.e. 0.2%.
