The competition includes these sub-areas together:

1. Monitoring Stor-Mjøsa (main station Skreia).

2. Monitoring the water quality at three other stations in Mjøsa, Brøttum, Kise and Furnesfjorden, as well as animal plankton in Furnesfjorden.

3. Monitoring chemical and hygienic/bacteriological conditions in Mjøsa's 6 largest feed rivers and the outflow river Vorma, as well as biological surveys in the 11-12 largest feed rivers and Vorma on a rolling programme.

4. Reporting, including various presentations and entering all data into the database Vannmiljø.

Initiative orientated monitoring the River Mjøsa and the inlet rivers in 2017. Option for 2 years prolongation of the contract.
