Wales and West Utilities (WWU) is currently undertaking a major transformation programme. Underpinning this, our information technology applications and infrastructure are undergoing significant change. We have a vision to become a more agile IT organisation focused on delivering increased business value and have developed a strategy to support this vision. As part of our transformation journey we are in the process of issuing a small number of major IT-related tenders up until mid-2021. The objective of the second of these tenders is to procure services related to cloud infrastructure support and digital services.
WWU IT is currently delivering a programme designed to deliver new business technology solutions that do not exist within our business today. To enable the programme we are building new cloud, digital and SAP capabilities. We will achieve this through a hybrid model, which includes the build-out of both internal capabilities and supplementary supplier agreements. This tender is composed of two lots. Potential providers may bid for one or both lots. The lots are:
Lot 1: Azure infrastructure services,
Lot 2: Digital delivery services.
Further details of the required services can be found in the PQQ briefing document.
