The competition concerns a general contract in connection with renewing of the facade of the bed wings /blocks at Ålesund Hospital.

The current facades shall be dismantles /demolished /cleared to concrete and applied with new insulation and new external facing and new windows. New exit under the facade and transition to the roof. Exposed outer wall of concrete in the basement shall be insulated and rendered.

New windows shall be set into the new facade and the old windows shall be demolished.

The contract comprises initiatives related to the south facade and west facade at the hospital’s bed wings consisting of the nine floor tower block and the 5 floor low block. The contracting authority requests an option on equivalent works on the north and east facades.
