Call for participation requests - GEOTH-054-1 - Mons - Drilling of the doublet of geothermal wells at Porte de Nimy

Please note: the sections in this notice are subject to a certain amount of information, given the large number of lots. It is therefore advisable to refer to the market documents which can be downloaded via the link provided in this notice, in order to have all the information.

As part of the 2014-2020 ERDF programming, the Walloon government decided, in its session of 21.5.2015, to approve the portfolio of "energy distribution" projects, resulting from a partnership between IDEA (which is the lead partner) and Umons, for a total amount of EUR 16,078,689.94.

This portfolio includes the following nested projects:

- the Geotherwall_Doublet 1 project or the Porte de Nimy project in Mons, aimed at creating a heating network supplied with a geothermal doublet to be installed near the Ambroise Paré hospital, in order to meet its needs in heating and domestic hot water;

The “all site risks including civil liability” insurance will cover:

1) Damage to the structure:

1.1) damage caused during the works;

1.2) the damage caused during the reordering of the remarks made during the provisional acceptance of the works (period between the provisional acceptance and the final acceptance);

1.3) damage and losses affecting the property to be erected, including:

- damage due to forces of nature;

- damage due to the fault of third parties.

1.4) excavation and demolition costs with a maximum of 10% of the insured amount.

The following warranty extensions must be provided:

- coverage of damage to movable and immovable property existing on the site;

- coverage of damage caused to erected property observed during the period between the provisional and final acceptance of the works and due to a generating event occurring on site during this period.

2) Civil liability:

The warranty will include the following coverage:

- bodily injury and / or material damage caused to third parties during the insured work as well as their direct consequences, within the framework of articles 1382, 1384 and 1386 of the civil code;

- neighborhood disturbances (article 544 of the civil code). This guarantee applies to bodily injury, damage caused to constructions belonging to third parties and damages that are the direct consequences of the damage suffered by these constructions;

- cross-liability (each insured is considered as a third party vis-à-vis the other insured);

- damage to movable and immovable property existing on the site (in the case of interventions on private facades).
