Gas rehab 2023
SUPPLY OF NATURAL GAS FOR REHAB CLINICS OF THE KNAPSCHAFT-BAHN-SEE (KBS) FOR THE YEAR 2023. The Knappschaft Kliniken Service GmbH (KKSG) carries out the tender in the name and for the account of the Knappschaft-Bahn-See (KBS) and concludes a contract on behalf of KBS. The client is KBS. The requesters are rehabilitation clinics. The KKSG is the procurement point and contact point for the ongoing procurement procedure and is available for the moderation of questions regarding contract execution for the duration of the contract. The object is to supply the customer with natural gas. Service components include procurement (tranches model), delivery, customer support and billing. The total volume of output is estimated at around 23,244 MWh for 12 months.
The most economical offer is awarded the contract. The price is 100% decisive for determining the profitability of the offers.
Pricing for RLM delivery points is based on stock exchange prices (PEGAS) for Natural Gas Year Future Cal. 2022 and the provisions of the natural gas supply agreement. The gas prices for the individual delivery point are calculated using the following pricing formula:

The constant “K1" must be expressed in €/MWh and has to be specified with three decimal places. K1 includes all costs for structuring, customer support, billing, margins, etc. (so-called service surcharge). Conversion fees that may be incurred are to be included in these costs (constant K). The energy priceSLP2023 is the labour price including any conversion fees and basic prices (but plus all allocations, duties and taxes). This energy price is granted and calculated to the customer for the entire calendar year 2023.
For the evaluation, the energy price DRM23 is determined on the basis of the variable (“K1") specified by the bidder for the energy price formula and a fictitious end-of-day price for NCG or GAS POOL in the amount of €30/MWH. The energy price SLP2023 is a fixed price offered by the bidder. For the evaluation, the energy price RLM23 is multiplied by the estimated consumption values of the RLM delivery points. The specified energy priceSLP23 is multiplied by the estimated consumption values of SLP delivery points. The totals are added up (valuation price). The offer with the lowest value price is the most economical offer. The actual purchase or fixing of the energy price relevant for the supply is carried out in accordance with the agreement on the supply and purchase of natural gas. Billing takes place between the individual rehabilitation clinic and the service provider. The delivery period starts on 01/01/2023, 06:00 and ends on 01/01/2024, 06:00. The price is for a volume tolerance band of “+/- “20% calculated on the total estimated quantity of all purchasing points. The contract contains regulations for the purchase or repurchase in the event that the volume tolerance band is exceeded or undercut and specifies a quantity over/quantity surcharge of 0.100 ct/kWh.
