In this specification emphasis has been put on describing the needs that are to be met. Tenderers shall, based on the specification's limits, submit tenders for the requested products and describe how the requirements will be met.

Tenderers shall respond to the requirements set in this specification directly in the document, possibly with a referral to an annex, as this will be a part of the contract between the buyer and seller. The requirements and conditions described here, and the tenderer's response, will be binding and will be seen as separate terms in the contract.

The contract's nature will be a framework agreement for 2 — two — years with an option to extend the existing contract for a further 1 + 1 year.

The framework agreement will include consumables for the surgical department:

— Product group A: Surgical clothing;

— Product group B: Surgical gloves;

— Product group C: Procedure gloves;

— Product group D: Surgical materiail, various;

— Product group E: Surgical covers;

— Product group F: Suction and drainage;

— Product group G: Compresses and tupfers.
