With the planned new building, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg will replace the existing rescue coordination centre. The new building comprises seven full storeys and has a basement in one section. The foundation is carried out as a deep foundation with the help of bored piles. The property is directly connected to the neighbouring buildings to the west and ends closed on the property boundary to the east. In the open space remaining behind the building, parking spaces are planned, which can be reached via a passage in the western part of the building. In addition, two underground diesel tanks will be installed in this area. There is an apartment building on the adjacent parcel to the south. The construction site fluctuates in height by about
1 m, with a higher street level.
