General presentation of the subject matter of the contract.

The Municipality of Pepinster currently has 2,728 households and 1,401 isolated in its territory, which requires obtaining and offering a quality service for the collection of household waste.

The purpose of this contract is to designate a service provider to provide:

— the collection of residual household waste and organic waste and their disposal to a suitable sorting centre;

— the provision in the form of rental and maintenance of smart containers for each household and for each business or professional profession upon request.

Regular collection of residual household waste and organic household waste (with identification and weighing of the waste fraction) will begin on 1.1.2022 and will end on 31.12.2029.

It is intended to apply throughout the territory of the Municipality of Pepinster and also concerns transport to the place of treatment, i.e. at the facilities of the intermunicipal Intradel in Herstal, or in the case of organic waste, to the place designated by the intermunicipal or municipality.

Estimation of the cost of services and supplies.

The amount of this contract for services and supplies is valued at an amount of EUR 2,560,000 VAT.
