Bergen Municipality will procure controllers from Fortinet.

A framework agreement will also be entered into for the purchase of associated access points.

The procurement concerns supplementary purchases for Bergen Municipality's existing system from Fortinet. 

Bergen Municipality will purchase 10 Fortigate controllers from Fortinet to replace the existing ones based on FortiWLC. There is also an option for an additional 5 Fortigate controllers and an option for a guest network solution. Associated services are also a part of the procurement.

The procurement also includes a framework agreement for the purchase of Fortinet access points for the coming years. This is to ensure easier scaling and operation for the future of Bergen Municipality's existing 6800 APs from Fortinet. The framework agreement will be valid for 2 years, with an option for the contracting authority to extend the contract for up to further 2 years, for a maximum total of 4 years.

A contract will be signed with one tenderer.
