Brief Contract Description.

The contract to be tendered by Dumfries and Galloway Health Board (the ‘Authority’) is for the direct provision of a Reactive Maintenance Refrigeration, Freezer and Ventilation Unit Maintenance and Annual Servicing Contractor.

The Reactive Refrigeration Maintenance and Annual Servicing of Appliances contractor will be expected to address any refrigeration, freezing and individual unit mechanical ventilation failures on all NHSDG properties in a professional manner leading to a speedy resolution of any problems that may affect the efficient delivery of services by NHSDG. Scope of works could range from rudimentary annual servicing to repairs of large refrigerators and individual pharmacy, ward drug and patient fridges as well as catering refrigerator/freezers and individual ventilation units of various sizes.

Regular annual servicing planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs of refrigeration, freezing and ventilation units.

The Authority wishes to advise that the issue of documents does not commit the Authority to proceed with the appointment of a supplier to this contract.

The Authority shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by suppliers in connection with the tender process for this Contract.
