The Norwegian Environment Agency coordinates the government watercourse liming in Norway. In 1996 The Norwegian Environment Agency established a control scheme for watercourse lime, which has the purpose of controlling that the lime delivered is of the agreed and approved quality. This assignment is part of the control scheme. The assignment includes analyses of sent in lime tests (part 1), as well as the preparation of analyses and turnover statistics for lime delivered for watercourse liming (annual statistic bulletin) (part 2).
