The Erlabrunn, Harrbach, Steinbach, Rothenfels, Faulbach and Freudenberg fortifications on the Main federal waterway were put into operation between 1935 and 1939. All essential assemblies date back to the construction period and now have considerable repair needs. The weirs are therefore to be comprehensively repaired.

Accompanying the structural design, test engineering services are required for the static and structural testing of civil engineering structures as well as for the examination of design and execution documents for structural measures.

For all 6 weir systems together, the order covers the following test engineering services:

- Inspections as part of the preliminary planning for the objects "Weir" and "Excavation Pit Enclosure"

For each of the 6 weir systems, the contract includes the following test engineering services:

- Design review for the object "Wehr" (6x)

- Design review for the object "Excavation Enclosure" (6x)

- Static and constructive examination of execution and construction drawings for the object "Weir" (6x)

- Static and constructive examination of execution and construction drawings for the object "excavation pit enclosure" (6x)

and related special services and, if necessary, retrievable demand services.
