The Birmingham and Solihull CCGs are looking to appoint suitably qualified provider(s) to provide Community Ophthalmology Services. This requirement will be split into 2 lots:
— Lot 1 — Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS); and,
— Lot 2 — Community Medical Ophthalmology (CMO) Services.
It is anticipated that the contract(s) put in place as a result of this process will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Commissioner. Please note that the named parties on this notice are due to formally merge into 1 organisation on the 1.4.2018 to form Birmingham and Solihull CCG. Any contract(s) awarded as a result of this tender process will therefore be with this entity as opposed to those named on this notice.
