The contracting entity procures the winter maintenance work of the municipality of Sauvo as a service procurement. The service provider is responsible for the necessary machinery and transport equipment and their drivers. The service provider's tasks include, for example, snow ploughing, anti-slippery conditions and snow removal. Winter maintenance work is carried out on traffic routes, public areas and properties. The usual procedure period for winter maintenance is annually 1.11.–31.5.
The contract period is 2022–2024 and the option is 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 (2+1+1 years). The contracting entity decides on the exercise of options separately.
The acquisition is divided into three (3) subdivisions:
1. Sauvo city centre area
2. Rantula
3. Osmalahti
The tenderer may submit the tender in one (1) or more sub-areas.
For the areas offered, the offer must include the winter maintenance of the entire area in all respects, throughout the annual procedure period.
The sub-areas and the maintenance items included in them are presented in more detail in Appendices 6.
As a result of the procurement procedure, the contracting entity selects one (1) service provider for each sub-area with whom it concludes a contract.
The contracting entity procures the services as needed and does not commit to specific quantities. Part of the winter maintenance can also be carried out as the municipality's own work.
