The object of the procurement is a design consulting service (main and architectural design (conventional/minor), main and architectural design (demanding/exceptionally demanding), structural design, HVAC design, electrical design, ground studies and floor structure design and acoustics design and related expert services) for the use of the City of Nokia and Nokian Rental Homes Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Client).

Main and architectural design (conventional/minor), main and architectural design (demanding/exceptionally demanding), structural design, HVAC design, electrical design, ground studies and floor structure design and acoustics design and related expert services (hereinafter referred to as Service) for procurement under separate assignments for different purposes and for unidentified projects of different sizes. The Service included in the assignment is specified separately in each Assignment.

The subscriber means the City of Nokia and Nokian Vuokrakodit Oy. Subscribers may also include limited liability companies, foundations and other entities controlled by the Subscribers.

The procurement is divided into seven (7) parts:

Part 1 Principal and architectural design (conventional/minor) and related professional services

Part 2 Main and architectural design (demanding/exceptionally demanding) and related expert services

Part 3 Structural design and related expert services

Part 4 HVAC design and related professional services

Part 5 Electrical design and related expert services

Part 6 Ground surveys and foundation structure design and related expert services

Part 7 Acoustics design and related expert services

Five service providers are selected on a section-by-section basis (5). If there are not enough tenders or tenders have to be rejected, the number of service providers to be selected may be less than five.

The Customer can order the Service in accordance with the invitation to tender during the contract period either by assignment (order of priority or Need of the Subscriber) or by mini-competitive tendering. The customer orders the Service from the Service Providers in such a way that the procurements are, in principle, in accordance with the order of priority of the Service Providers, but as a rule always taking into account the needs of the Customer. The customer has the right to take into account the need per assignment, e.g. in the case of a commission. Based on the specific competence required by the nature of the assignment, the qualifications required (e.g. corresponding work experience), the resources required and the schedule.
