Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD) uses smartphones and tablets from apple as a standard mobile device platform and also uses its products in other areas.

The UKHD intends to commission a framework agreement for the supply of Apple products and related accessories. This framework agreement enables Heidelberg University Hospital to commission the required products from a single source as part of a long-term cooperation with a bidder. For this purpose, the contractor (Contractor) must be able to offer a comprehensive portfolio of products and product services.

For certain Apple product groups, an initial order volume is specified. This volume is commissioned and retrieved once at the beginning of the framework contract by the UKHD for already planned purposes. The volume is set at EUR 250,000.00 (net) for the product group of Apple iPads and EUR 150,000.00 (net) for the product group of Apple iPhones.

The framework agreement is intended to enable the procurement of all products of the above-mentioned product groups (e.g. iPads, iPhones) from the manufacturer Apple. In addition to all currently available products, this also includes newly developed products (e.g. successor and new models) that will appear on the market in the course of the framework agreement.

In addition to apple's product range (Apple devices and accessories), the framework agreement also includes a selection of products that are defined in a vendor-neutral manner (e.g., device cases, USB chargers) or include certain third-party products. The provider can offer freely selected products that have the required properties.
