The project concerns an update of the environmental impact assessment for the construction of a new motorway between Næstved and Rønnede, Route 54. This contract covers only the outline design. The aim of the project is to improve accessibility and road safety on the line.

An update of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is to be prepared from 2016.

In continuation of the update, a Construction Act must be submitted to the Danish Parliament, and thereby a final basis for decisions on the implementation of the project will be adopted.

The main features of the adviser's task include:

- Outline design in connection with updating of environmental impact assessment sketch design of new motorway between Næstved and Rønnede - Route 54. This mainly includes the technical elements concerning road engineering, drainage, constructions, geotechnics and wiring conditions.
