Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust conducted a procurement exercise in conjunction with Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust for the provision of occupational health and staff counselling services. The 2 organisations plan to become one in early 2020 subject to regulatory approval. Only the occupational health lot is to be awarded with the model of delivery of the staff counselling Service to be reviewed.
Lot 1 is not being awarded as the model of delivery for the staff counselling service is being reviewed. Only the occupational health (Lot 2) is to be awarded.
The Trust(s) were looking for a comprehensive, high quality occupational health service (OHS), which represented value for money (VfM) and complied with national standards. The aim of the OHS is to maintain and promote the health (both physical and mental) and well-being of the Trust(s) employees by providing a quality occupational health, and health and well-being service.
The decision has been made not to award the staff counselling element of the tender. The delivery model for this service is being reviewed. Only lot 2, occupational health services, is to be awarded
