NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU on behalf of NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG wish to invite prospective providers to express their interest in the tender for the provision of Community Gynaecology Services.
The Gynaecology Services shall be for the provision of a consultant led, high quality, dedicated and professional gynaecology services, centred on clinical assessment and treatment of common women’s health conditions.
The service objectives are:
— provide clinical leadership, assessment and treatment within a Community Based Service,
— actively manage the demand for Gynaecology services ensuring speedy access,
— reduce the number of patient visits via a coordinated seamless Service User pathway,
— reduce waiting times for Service Users requiring treatment and assist in maintaining the standard of a maximum 18 week period from referral to treatment,
— improve Service User experience,
— ensure Service Users are seen and treated in a safe environment most appropriate to their needs,
— work to locally agreed models of care and pathways for Gynaecological conditions.
The CCG anticipates that this contract will be awarded to one service provider or a lead provider on behalf of a consortium.
The Contract will be for a period of 4 years with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The successful provider will be required to sign the NHS Standard Contract for the service and accept all terms and conditions.
