The contracting authority intends to award the contract for services of preparation and participation in the awarding of contracts, construction management and construction supervision, documentation and object management for the work services of third parties for the expansion of the drinking water treatment plants and for flushing wastewater treatment. include the subject matter of the work to be performed, the award (participation) of which and the supervision of the award hereby announced;

- Construction of a new first filter stage as a multi-layer filter for a treatment capacity of 77,000 m³/d, including integration into the existing plants,

- Conversion of existing filters to calcium carbonate filters,

- Conversion or new construction of all systems related to the two filter stages for filter flushing, initial filtrate and rinsing water storage, filter flushing wastewater treatment,

- pipelines from the raw water transfer point to the filtration stages and in between,

- Expansion of the chemical station,

- Adaptation of the disinfection system.

The drinking water treatment plant is intended to ensure the supply in quantity and quality, especially in the event of increased contamination of raw water, including organic ingredients.

Construction, commissioning and trial operation will be carried out while the waterworks continues to operate.

Awarding of planning/construction supervision services for the construction of a new filter stage and the expansion of the filter systems in the WW01 Einsiedel waterworks, conversion during continuous operation.

The project is currently being approved by the Saxony State Directorate. The implementation plan is drawn up by the planners who prepared the permit application. The Free State of Saxony is contributing 50% of the costs of the project.

The service to be awarded includes the optimisation of the implementation planning in preparation for the award, participation in the awarding of contracts, construction management and construction supervision, documentation and property support after commissioning for all work services (in particular all technical equipment and equipment, pipe performance and civil engineering) of third parties and includes at least all relevant service profiles of the HOAI as well as all basic, Special and additional services.

The contractor assumes the project management function for the work services starting from their invitation to tender until the final payment.

Start of performance of the services to be awarded, starting with the optimization of the implementation planning in Dec. 2023.

Construction is expected to take place from Dec. 2024 - Dec. 2028. Subsequently, the object management takes place.

During construction, the presence of qualified persons on the construction site must be ensured.

The assignment is carried out in stages in two service phases:

- Section I: Performance Level 0

- Section II: Performance levels 1 to 4 as an option.

Upon completion of the negotiated procedure, service level 0 is contractually commissioned.

There is no legal entitlement to further commissioning of service levels 1 to 4 after performance of service level 0 by way of exercising an option or in any other way.
