With this call for tenders, Flughafen Zürich AG intends to procure potassium formate-based surface de-icing agent. The products offered must not contain azoles and/or urea. In addition, the products offered must comply with the SAE AMS 1435D standard.

Flughafen Zürich AG has a storage capacity (liquid) of 850,000 litres on campus. Flughafen Zürich AG has its own level monitoring system, which could also be made available to the provider.

The provider is obliged to maintain a reserve warehouse (liquid) of more than 200,000 l during the winter season, which is located near the campus. Emergency deliveries must be ensured at any time from this reserve warehouse within 6 hours, including Sundays and public holidays.
