The assignment concerns the acquisition of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) (municipal) software (licenses) which can be purchased on-premises and / or as SaaS / IaaS / PaaS (Xaas) solutions including advice, service and maintenance.

The Client wants to achieve the following with the new agreement:

• The client wants to purchase (municipal) software (licenses) with or without maintenance and support in the most (cost-) efficient way, taking into account the total cost of ownership (TCO);

• The client wants a licensing landscape that permanently fits the organization and is optimally tailored to the needs, size and vision for the future;

• The Client wants to be advised solicited and unsolicited about the purchase and possession of software licenses, including compliance;

• The client wants to be 'unburdened' in the handling of orders and administrative matters concerning (the extension of maintenance on) the software licenses with a central registration in a portal.

Given the fact that the municipality of Smallingerland wants to retain the possibility to include all standard software under this framework agreement, the total estimate is estimated at € 8,000,000 over 6 years.

The mentioned value is indicative, no rights can be derived from this. For this reason, the framework agreement will be concluded for a maximum value of 120% of the aforementioned amount.
