REDEVELOPMENT OF THE FORMER PAPER MILL BURGO AREA IN THE HAMLET OF LAMA DI RENO IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARZABOTTO (BO) - LOT 1B - PNRR

The project involves re-functionalization of a portion of the former Burgo paper mill in Lama di Reno in order to activate start-up activities, community services without losing their industrial identity. The interventions concern:

- the energy requalification of the former office block that will be transformed into a hybrid residential space;

- the creation of spaces for start-ups, conference rooms and exhibitions through the vertical and horizontal partition of the existing volume and the installation of the necessary systems;

- the creation of new accesses both from the side façade along Via Lama di Reno and on the railway front;

- the redevelopment of outdoor spaces and increase of permeable surface and green areas;

- the transformation of a building into a covered open space for aggregative activities.
