Nordic Innovation invite economic operators to develop a concept for a common Nordic Scaling Pilot (i.e. Nordic test-lab for scaling) to stimulate high-growth entrepreneurship in the Nordic region and to test the concept during a two-year Pilot period. The overall goal of the Pilot is to create a more unified Nordic community around the Nordic scale-ups and more mature SMEs with high-growth ambitions as a means to stimulate the economic growth in the Nordic countries. The executors must have real ‘hands-on’ experience on working with high-growth companies. The executors will be selected throught this public procurement on the basis of their track record, competences, networks and suggestion for a Nordic scaling model.

Nordic Innovation thus wants to procure a scaling model and its implementation during a two-year Pilot period. While the Pilot period can be at maximum two years, the actual contract period can be at maximum 30 months. The target group of the Pilot shall be the most promising, exciting and ambitious Nordic companies in actual growth/scale-up phase, with a clear growth strategy, a competent management team and a desire to obtain substantial growth funding. Thus, start-ups or micro-sized companies are typically outside the scope of the Pilot.
