In the light of future less predictive mix of different quality gas being fed in from the European gas network via Denmark, as well as new in-feeds of biogas from plants in Sweden, the requirements on the ability to track gas quality and heat values in the Swedish gas transmission network increases. It is the intention to procure and take into operation a software based system for calculating heat values as well as other gas properties in the Swedish gas transmission network owned by Swedegas.
