data collection and monitoring of the Albane survey
The Albane Inquiry is a survey co-led by Public Health France and ANSES. It is intended to meet their missions of surveillance and assessment of health risks in food, biomonitoring, health, nutrition and environment (Albane). The innovative Albane survey adopts a continuous data collection format in the form of consecutive cycles of two years each, each cycle includes a series of questionnaires and measures identical from one cycle to the next. A pilot of the survey will be conducted between March and May 2024. The first cycle of the survey will be conducted in 2025-2026 and the second in 2027-2028. Each cycle will take place in survey areas drawn at random in metropolitan France (including Corsica). Each cycle aims to include a sample of 1,150 children aged 0 to 17 years and 2,000 adults aged 18 to 79 years who have completed the entire protocol, i.e. up to paraclinical and biological examination.
