The subject of the tendered contract is a framework agreement for the supply of licenses in the area of endpoint protection (client and server) and mail security from manufacturer Sophos as well as additional system services.

The Technical University of Braunschweig, as legal representatives, writes out a framework agreement (RV) in its name and for its needs and on behalf of other eligible persons with this procurement procedure. The framework agreement serves the flexible procurement of products from manufacturer Sophos as well as additional system services that are carried out directly by the manufacturer and the contractor. Existing solutions from the manufacturer are to be updated and expanded with the framework agreement. Due to manufacturer-specific functions and interfaces and/or licensing aspects, central requirements can only be covered by products from the named manufacturer. An EVB-IT release contract type B is used as the basis of the contract. Complementary purchase and services are commissioned on the basis of VOL/B contract terms.
