The city of Rees is looking for a general planner for the new construction of its outdoor pool.

The former, currently closed outdoor pool of the city of Rees is to be rebuilt in a modified form using the existing swimming pools on the property of Rees, corridor 24, parcel 461. For this purpose, the city is looking for a general planner who is to take over all necessary architectural and engineering services.

The basis for planning is a feasibility study by ANTEC, whose “expansion concept” has to be taken into account and implemented. The outdoor pool will then include a competition-ready stainless steel swimming pool with 6 lanes of 25m length, a non-swimmers' pool of approx. 330 m² and a children's pool with a water area of around 100 m².

The outdoor pool is to be used at the start of the 2024 season, specifically by 15.05.2024 at the latest.

As the new building is a funded measure, compliance with the funding conditions is mandatory.

The object of the assignment is first performance phase 3 after the HOAI, which must be completed by 30.08.2022. Details can be found in the procurement documents
