Operate water treatment plant for the removal of iron from groundwater and precipitation water by neutralization with hydrated lime and separation of iron hydroxide sludge by precipitation. Dewatering and disposal of iron hydroxide sludge.
The operation of the water treatment plant (WAA) in Borna West, which has been converted in recent years, is to be continued. In the WAA, iron is extracted from groundwater and precipitation water by neutralization with hydrated lime and separation of iron hydroxide sludge by precipitation.
Key data of the plant and the services to be carried out are:
- Plant throughput: 10-40 m³/h, in case of flooding up to 144 m³/h
- average daily flow of water 250 m³ to 1000 m³
- Maintenance and servicing of the entire system including outdoor area and rainwater retention basin (approx. 5,500 m²)
- Disposal or recycling of iron hydroxide sludge (approx. 200t/a)
- Delivery and introduction (silo) of hydrated lime (approx. 50 t/a)
- Delivery and preparation of flocculants (approx. 50 kg /a)
- Proof of compliance with the discharge criteria according to the existing water permit
- Anlagenoptimierung
