The city of Kandel intends to award the technical planning for structural planning acc. Part 4 Section 1 HOAI for the rehabilitation of the Bienwald Stadium in Kandel. The planned measure includes the refurbishment of the stadium building and the grandstand complex as well as the redesign of the sports area. The following measures are provided, inter alia:

- new construction of a lift,

- establishment of a competition office and a speaker's cabin in the stands,

- Furnishing office space on the ground floor,

- Demolition and re-covering of the stadium roof,

- Demolition, insulation and re-roofing of the stadium building,

- demolition of concrete balconies and canopies with continuous full thermal insulation of the facade,

- replacement windows and door elements,

- demolition of suspended ceilings for fire protection reasons,

- renewal of sanitary installations,

- Renovation of the tribune complex with required new joint sealing, coating and protection of the surfaces,

- Construction steel balcony with railing, renovation railing stadium building, renovation 674 sqm GFA.
