Description:
The hiring of advanced technical support services – Unified Enterprise Support – from the manufacturer Microsoft for a period of two years.

The Administration of the Community of Castilla y León – ACCyL – has been using Microsoft products to meet the needs of its users in office automation tasks, shared management of network resources, email, job management, access control to network resources, user management, collaboration tools and portals, etc. In previous years, through Software Assurance contracts, the rights to use the products necessary to provide the services mentioned above have been acquired and renewed, as well as the second-level advanced support service provided by the manufacturer – Premier Support – to have adequate coverage in case of problems or incidents due to the software object of the contract. In November 2023 it will be necessary to renew the second-level advanced support service, which is renamed Unified Enterprise Support, and which must take into account the great leap that the ACCyL will undertake in terms of licensing volume, caused by the need to provide workers with the latest version of office automation software and the associated cloud and intelligent workplace functionalities. It is also necessary to take into account the support needed by the 365 tenant dedicated to the educational environment, which is used by both public employees and citizens, as well as the server products exclusively used for that environment.
