The subject matter of the contract is to outline the progress and achievements of cohesion policy in selected areas of environment-related infrastructure: drinking water, waste water treatment, and solid waste management. Special emphasis will be given to the financial sustainability of investments, which will be examined through the financial data of a small number of major projects and several mini case studies of projects in regions to obtain insights on the real context in practice.
