The provision of Nutritional Products and Services (to include tube feeds, supplements, instant thickening/gelling agents, pumps, consumables and a home delivery service) that will provide a delivery/support service for service users under the care of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust's Nutrition and Dietetic Service (RNDS) within the Rotherham area. The service will be provided for patients in both the acute and community healthcare settings and is intended to be managed as an off-FP10 requirement.

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and NHS Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group (together, the Trusts) seek competitive tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers in relation to the provision of Nutritional Products and Services (to include tube feeds, supplements, instant thickening/gelling agents, pumps, consumables and a home delivery service) that will provide a delivery/support service for service users under the care of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust's Nutrition and Dietetic Service (RNDS) within the Rotherham area. The service will be provided for patients in both the acute and community healthcare settings and is intended to be managed as an off-FP10 requirement. It is expected that the service will support the provision of nutritional supply which includes enteral feeds, feeding pumps (and their associated maintenance and support), consumables, supplements, thickening/gelling agents, nutrition education and support services for safe discharges on home enteral tube feeding, and a home delivery service for patients registered with a Rotherham GP, which can include patients residing outside of the Rotherham area. The service will also be expected to provide on-going nursing advice and assistance to professional staff, patients and their family/carers, where necessary.
