Viridian Housing provides social housing to over 30 000 customers across London and the South East, the Midlands and West Sussex. We have around 16 000 homes and work in partnership with local authorities, other organisations and customers to create safe, sustainable communities.

Viridian seeks a contractor(s) capable of providing Security Services at our Student Accommodation University sites. The proposed services will be delivered to a number of schemes which have been divided into 3 lots by region.

Contractors will be required to undertake frequent but random patrol of the sites, identify defects, risks and hazards with regards to Health and Safety, and any general repair issues, provide reactive response at all times, maintain a vigilant watch on CCTV cameras and be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

Viridian Housing's has procured for a contractor to provide security services at our Middlesex and Student South halls of residence which comprises of the following sites:

Platt Halls and Writtle House, Colindale;

Ivy Hall, Cricklewood;

Usher Hall, Hendon;

Wood Green Hall.

The proposed renewal of the security services contract will ensure that Viridian Housing and its residents residing in our halls of residence are receiving a quality service and value for money from the supplier.

The contract has been procured through single stage OJEU tendering in strict accordance with EU Regulations and compliance with UK procurement legislation.

Procurement for this contract included a robust quality evaluation with exacting specifications and a pricing schedule.
