Under the banner of sustainable mobility, MV Mannheimer Verkehr GmbH is working on the implementation of innovative concepts such as the use of alternative drive technologies and the associated infrastructure.
In order to decarbonise public transport, it is necessary to switch to electric drives, i.e. battery- and fuel-cell-electric buses and combinations of both systems. MV has set itself ambitious goals for the electrification of its bus fleet. By 2032, the entire bus fleet is to be converted to alternative drive systems.
In order to be able to cover the future additional demand for bus capacities from the "transport turnaround", a new central bus depot is to be built on the site of the former Mannheim meat supply centre after the demolition of the existing buildings.
The planning goal is the new building "Centre for Innovative Mobility (ZIM)", including the dismantling of the existing meat supply centre. The main quality objectives of the construction project are maximum CO2 neutrality and optimised primary energy requirements.
Through continuous processing from a single source across all project phases, all functional requirements and functional concerns are to be optimally synchronized with the architectural and specialist planning topics and functioning maintenance processes are to be guaranteed. The combination of early requirements and functional planning, as well as interface-free overall workshop planning (depot and main workshops), is intended to create a modern depot with best-practice workshops.
The assignment as general planner is carried out with the aim of ensuring an interface-free overall planning for the client, in particular in the following planning, consulting and investigation areas (architectural and engineering services):
(1) Object planning of buildings and interiors
(2) Object planning of outdoor facilities
(3) Structural design (including building physics if applicable)
(4) Technical building equipment, installation groups 1-8 General
(5) Technical equipment, plant group 1-8, possibly specialized planners required for:
- ALG 4 - 440 Kraftwerk: Technical systems for e-charging infrastructure
- ALG 6 - 460 conveyor systems, HUB systems, lifting systems workshop
- ALG 7 - 470 Consulting and planning services H2 infrastructure; H2 tank system
- ALG 7 - 470 Feurlöschanlagen
- ALG 7 - 470 Druckluftanlagen
- ALG 7 - 470 Workshop equipment (incl. washing system, roof work stands, media systems, lifting devices, test benches
- ALG 7 - 470 Device for retrofitting automated depot / autonomous driving Usage-specific systems - autonomous / semi-autonomous depot, according to VDV document 890-Automated depot-draft-06-2022
(6) Object planning of civil engineering structures + traffic facilities
(7) Brandschutzplanung
(8) Building physics
(9) Geotechnics / Soil Report
(10) Schadstoffuntersuchungen
(11) Ingenieurvermessung
(12) Kampfmittelsondierungsleistungen
(13) SiGeKo services
(14) Species protection investigations with compensatory measures (if necessary)
(15) Beweissicherungsleistungen
(16) Planning and construction supervision services for dismantling/demolition/site clearance
(17) Coordination and implementation of the Sustainable Building Assessment System
