The aim is to establish the conditions that will govern the contracting, by the Consellería del Medio Rural, of a service of a light helicopter with helitrated brigade, intended for the defense against forest fires during 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The aim is to establish the conditions that will govern the contracting, by the Consellería del Medio Rural, of a service of a light helicopter with helitrated brigade, intended to defend against forest fires during 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The missions to develop by the service are as follows:

— transport of the brigade subject to this recruitment or other brigades and extinguishing equipment to forest fires, to participate in the extinguishing of forest fires,

— fire extinguishing by throwing water from the helicopter, with or without retardants/foaming agents, as required by the director of extinguishing,

— any other mission related to the prevention and defense against forest fires, as well as the restoration of areas affected by forest fires.

The service will be provided by a light type helicopter and will include a helicopter brigade. The service to be contracted consists of 276 days of helicopter availability, with a total of 450 flight hours. The helicopter brigade will serve 276 days.
