The Institute for Energy and Transport (IET) is one of the 7 scientific institutes of the Joint Research Centre (JRC), a Directorate-General of the European Commission (EC). A control room (approximately 80 m2) is required on the site of the IET in Petten (Netherlands). This control room will be an annexe to the existing bunker on the site (Building 319), in which high-pressure experiments are conducted. These experiments shall be controlled and monitored from the control room.

The control room shall have individual rooms, such as for monitoring, a workshop, toilets and a shower.

The works include the construction of the control room, including installations, e.g. concrete foundations, steel trusses, sandwich panels, steel roofing sheets, and data, compressed-air, electrical, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.

Following final acceptance, the contractor must provide a 12-month maintenance guarantee.
