For the all-day care of approx. 330 - 350 children, a new building with a usable area of approx. 1,500 sqm is to be built on the property of the Albert Schweizer Primary School.

The new building is planned as a compact two-storey hall construction. With an interior hall as an auditorium and the four-sided additional utility rooms as group and work rooms. The inner auditorium is two-storey and has a circumferential open gallery on the upper floor.

The entrance to the planned house is located on the east side of the schoolyard of the

Elementary school. The main access inside is also via the two-storey hall and the centrally located single-flight staircase to the gallery on the upper floor. This main access also forms the 1st escape route. An elevator provides barrier-free access to the upper floor. Two further enclosed stairwells form the second escape route with direct exit to the outside.

On the upper floor, 9 group rooms and 2 functional rooms are arranged all around, accessible via the gallery. The reading areas with wardrobes are laid out as spacious, open niches at the gallery. On the ground floor, the interior hall is the central access and assembly hall. The auditorium is designed for a maximum of 200 people. A stage is laid out in a spatial niche between the elevator and the workroom. The premises of the administration

and educators are accessed via a small cul-de-sac corridor from the hall. The school club with canteen faces north and is connected to the hall via generous glazing. A north-facing terrace allows you to spend time outdoors in summer. The adjoining kitchen will also be used for school cooking, and direct access from the outside is possible via the terrace. The general functional rooms (works, games, media) are accessed directly via the hall. The house connection rooms (HLS and electric) as well as the caretaker are located in the north directly next to the sanitary facilities. The sanitary facilities on both floors are accessed via a separate branch corridor at an escape staircase. The camp is located opposite the kitchen, in the immediate vicinity of the school club.

In the southern outdoor area, car parking spaces and a bus stop with a waiting area are planned. These are planned separately by a landscape architect and traffic planner.
