The main objectives of the call for tender are to:

• develop and operate the S3 Community of Practice;

• organise events for smart specialisation stakeholders;

• set up and animate three working groups;

• provide concrete technical assistance support for the development and/or implementation of smart specialisation strategies to regions and/or Member States;

• provide ad-hoc analytical support for the further development of the S3 concept;

• manage and animate S3 thematic platforms (TSSPs), including the organisation of the periodic platforms’ Steering Committee meetings, and provide support to S3 thematic partnerships;

• develop and manage a new website for the S3 Community of Practice, including the management of migration of contents from the JRC website to a new S3 Community of Practice website;

• develop and manage social media accounts of S3 Community of Practice;

• ensure knowledge management and communication activities.
