Turnkey construction of a landfill management building including workshop halls consisting of hot and cold halls with a particular focus on sustainability
New construction of a landfill management building for the Hohenlohekreis waste management.
The building to be planned and constructed will consist primarily of office space, a few meeting rooms, and a customer area with a staff counter and a hot and cold hall for servicing the company vehicles. The building is to be completed by the beginning of 2024. The award is made in a negotiated procedure with participation competition on the basis of a functional service description to a total contractor. The service includes planning and constructing the building in compliance with all public law regulations, in particular building regulations requirements. The contractor is responsible for the complete planning of the building, including all technical trades, in each case the complete performance profile of the HOAI, including the approval planning. Orientation planning must be taken into account as a basis and updated accordingly.
The requirements are defined functionally, i.e. result-oriented, so that bidders can formulate different approaches to meet these requirements. The space program with 1085 m2 of main usable space for the administration is complemented by a hot and cold hall with an area of 162 m² and 375 m², also located on the site, which are also part of the construction project.
In order not to restrict the market and to be able to achieve the most economical offer possible, the construction method is kept open in the tender. Moveable temporary room elements are not permitted.
While exercising its role model function, the client places particular emphasis on an ecologically acceptable and long-term design. The building should therefore have a self-sufficient energy supply and a storage function for reusing the accumulated rainwater. The building is to be certified according to DGNB Gold
