The State Office for Foreigners' Affairs of Schleswig-Holstein (LfA) operates from 1 January 2021 in 25348 Glückstadt, Am Neuendeich 50, a detention center (AHE) with 60 places for people who are required to leave the country. The AHE as a department of the LfA will be represented around the clock with staff from the administration, the detention center and a private security service. This call also aims to set up a medical service (ÄD) in the AHE.

The self-image and the obligation of the LfA regarding a humane enforcement of the detention pending deportation taking into account the Schleswig-Holstein deportation custody law (AHaftVollzG SH) and the goal of decent accommodation as well as humane return guidelines for all admitted persons must be conceptual as well as in the practical implementation of all providers, also from ÄD, be carried and lived. It is expected that in the interests of the accommodated persons, the AE will cooperate with the authorities / companies / associations mentioned on an event-by-case basis or in a trusting manner.

The accommodated persons are to be examined at the outset by the ÄD in the Glückstadt property in accordance with Section 3 (7) AHaftvollzG SH and are to be given general medical care.
