NRK invites interested tenderers to participate in open tender contest for framework agreement regarding design, architecture and development services.

NRK aims to put in place a parallel framework agreement with a minimum of 3 and maximum of 15 providers, for each of the expertise areas. This is to ensure that we get a sufficient supply of large and small companies regardless of their own form of organisation and working methods.

The contracting authority has a varying need for ICT-professional support. NRK is in the front of using modern technology. The offered consultants must therefore comply with the contracting authority's great demands. The objective of the procurement is to enter into framework agreements with several providers who can ensure access to professional relevant ICT HR. The services shall basically be provided to the Department for Media Development, but the agreement will also be valid for all departments of NRK.

The Department for Media Development is responsible for NRK's on-line services, mobile and other media platforms. The Department for Media Development is currently responsible for NRK.no, on-demand, streaming and podcasting for NRK TV and Radio, Yr and NRK Super. The Department also develops applications for mobile phones, tablets and Smart-TV. These applications are ran on the operatives systems Android, iOS and tvOS.

The product development in NRK is based on NRK's responsibilities as a public broadcaster and with focus on the viewer/user requirements.
