BCP Council seeks a supplier to provide a flexible respite service for adults with learning disabilities, offering short breaks to support both individuals and their carers, while collaborating with families to ensure high-quality care.
Provision of a Respite Service for Adults with a Learning Disability. BCP Council are seeking to contract with a supplier for the provision of a respite service for Adults with a Learning Disability. To provide short breaks for individuals to have respite for a specified period of time. This enables the individual’s carer to take a break from their caring responsibilities. To work in partnership with BCP Council, individual clients and their families/carers to deliver high quality services that maximise the use of available resources. To provide a flexible, inclusive service for a range of client needs and support levels. The service will be commissioned on a block basis for the provision of 129 hours per week, 365 days a year across three beds, including sleeping nights, with additional 1:1 hours to be agreed on a case by case basis against assessed needs. The provider will work with commissioning to source an appropriate property for this provision of respite. There are several options: Option 1: Leasing Existing Property Option 2: Purchase Existing Property Option 3: Purchase or Leasing a Different Property
