The University Hospital Leipzig intends to upgrade and expand the infrastructure of the data network on the entire campus on Liebigstraße.
Corresponding companies for the work in the field of high and low current have already been tied up for this measure. The measure is already being implemented in the first buildings. For 18 other buildings, the drywall construction work is described in this service description. The work will be carried out across buildings and overlapping in time.
The performance is very small-scale and depends on the installation work.
Some of the cabling will be laid in the existing routes and cable paths, and some will open up new cable paths.
For the installation work, ceilings and walls must be professionally opened and closed again in individual surfaces. In some areas (corridors, halls, etc.) components with fire protection requirements are affected. Different ceiling constructions were installed in the buildings. Hallways e.g. with F30 panel ceilings and closed F30 GK ceilings. Acoustic ceilings were used in waiting areas. In addition to the ceilings, new rooms for data distribution and UPS systems will be created in individual houses. Here, new F90 walls are used for room demarcation. Existing walls without fire protection requirements are upgraded F90. After the installation work, the openings are closed again.
Also part of this measure are dust protection measures.
All work takes place under conditions of use and in compliance with hospital-specific hygiene. During the construction work, it must always be ensured that the medical operation with all its peculiarities is not impaired.
